Smart Grid Investment Grant Program Asset Investments

The U.S. Department of Energy is responsible for tracking deployment of investments made through the Smart Grid Investment Grant (SGIG) Program.

The SGIG Program asset investments include hardware, software, and programs that enable smart grid functions. The chart below shows assets implemented through the SGIG Program by the type of system. The chart shows equipment that is installed and operational to date.
