Occupational training and placement activities focus on electric power line installer/repairer, control valve installer/repairer, power plant operator, utility energy efficiency technician, automation technician, efficiency measurement technician, and energy auditor jobs. SLCC is targeting displaced workers, as well as current and future electric power sector personnel. Workforce training will aid the state of Utah in meeting its energy and Smart Grid goals.
