This project trains the next generation of electric utility technicians in four primary areas: 1) Customer engagement with adoption of energy efficiency, dynamic pricing, direct control and distributed generation programs, 2) Deployment and operation of smart metering, control, and grid optimization infrastructure, 3) The implementation, operation and control of a two-way communications infrastructure, 4) Compliance with standards to ensure interoperability and cyber security.
