Section 529 (a) of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (EISA 2007) requires the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Commission or FERC) to conduct a National Assessment of Demand Response Potential (Assessment) and report to Congress. The submission of this report fulfills the requirements of Section 529 (a) of EISA 2007.
