This DOE presentation was presented at the CNLS Smart Grid Seminar Series at Los Alamos National Lab on May 5-6, 2009. It discusses a hierarchical decision making methodology proposed for hedging in the day-ahead market and for playing the real-time market in a manner that yields regulation service revenues and allows for negotiated discounts on the use-of-distribution-network payments.
