Customer Participation in the Smart Grid - Lessons Learned

This report presents results from four Smart Grid Investment Grant (SGIG) projects on their experiences with customer outreach, marketing, and messaging. Findings address the importance of educating customers about smart grid technologies in the early phases of deployment, and recognize the value of local community groups in reaching out to low-income customers.
