Company Overview
The City of Glendale Water & Power Utility will receive $20 million in funding by the [U.S. Department of Energy to develop a smart-grid energy management system. The City of Glendale is one of 100 companies selected nationwide to receive stimulus funding by way of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The smart-grid plan will install 84,000 smart meters and a meter control system that will provide customers access to data about their electricity usage and enable dynamic rate programs.
