This set of slides was presented at the Smart Grid Advisory Meeting on June 23, 2009 in Red Bank, NJ. This presentation introduces AEP/EPRI Smart Grid demo virtual power plant simulation. The simulation project objective is to assess the functionality, performance and benefits of a fully integrated and robust smart grid as a Virtual Power Plant (VPP), from end-use to Regional Transmission Operator (RTO).
